MAGGIE’S GOING TO THE NATIONAL BALLET SCHOOL SUMMER PROGRAM!
Eleven year old Maggie Armstrong is off to Toronto this July to train at the World renowned National Ballet School. Maggie, a student of the Ann Milne School of Dance, auditioned for the NBS in March and has been accepted to their summer program. Students and staff wish Maggie all the best in this incredible oppourtunity.

Miss Kristin Leis has been chosen by the CANADIAN NATIONAL DANCE TEAM to help represent Canada at the WORLD DANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS in Poland this December. Auditions for this National team brought some of the best dancers from across Canada, all hoping for a spot on the team. The International Dance Organization is a non-profit worldwide organization that hosts the Official World Dance Championships. This event is recognized and governed by the International Olympic Committee. It is with great honour that Kristin accepts this position, and is very excited to have the opportunity to represent her country at the World Championship. Kristin is a dedicated student of the Ann Milne School of Dance in Owen Sound. Her main focus has been ballet, Pointe, modern and classical jazz, she also studies Highland dance from Owen Sounds very own 4 times World Champion Ann Milne. Kristin has danced with Ann's school in many performances, including both of Dancing For Life" productions, where over $80,000.00 was raised for the benefit of the Owen Sound community.

LEXIE'S A CHAMP!
Alexandria Patterson, age 9 years, recently won the Niagara Highland Dance Open Championship held April 2nd, in Niagara Falls. Amelia Patterson, her 7 year old sister, was selected by judges as the most promising beginner dancer. We are all very proud of you both.
